In this course, we are going to learn about the Constitution of the United States. This important American document was developed at the Constitutional Convention — a meeting held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to which each state sent representatives to agree upon a new system of government. We will learn about this new system of government, including how powers were separated across the government. We will also learn about the Bill of Rights, which guarantees certain rights and protects certain freedoms.
